Another moving day, we are getting a bit fed up with packing and unpacking. We have it worked to a routine but it is still a bit of a chore. If planning such a trip again we would stay longer in each location.
The site we have been on at Horne House Farm, near Abbeytown has to be one of the best CL’s available. Each individual pitch is level and well spaced and the facilities are excellent. One of the things we have missed whilst travelling is having a shower without fear of the water running out. There have been few sites with showers, those that have come second to Horne House Farm. It is easy to see why this is such a popular site.
The views from the site towards the northern part of the Lake District are cracking. I have enjoyed looking at Skiddaw and recalling to our fellow caravanners how a few days earlier we were at the top looking down. Lynnie has taken many pictures of the stunning sunsets. This has been another place that we have really enjoyed.
Our move is a journey of a couple of hours taking us south of Lancaster close to Condor Green. Another area of the country that we do not know so we will be in for a week of exploring.
